Regulatory Documents

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration released a final risk assessment on the safety of food from clones and their offspring on January 14, 2008.  The agency concluded that the meat and milk from cloned animals is no different from food derived from any other livestock.  The agency analysis was the most extensive food safety review in FDA’s history, and complements two earlier reports from the National Academy of Sciences that reached the same conclusion.
